Do you own a model/diecast/whatever of a car you own or have owned? Show me!!
This is a 3D printed model of a Fiesta ST that sits on my desk at work.

I don’t have one YET, but I usually get one of the car I have, minus the Mazda3 because no one made a non-MPS/Mazdaspeed version of it (though I do have one)
I’ve been thinking of picking one of these up, and painting it to match (only chrome on mine is the wheels/emblems)

People always ask (ok they don’t) but people have asked if I’m going to paint my 3D print.
No, because 1) I can’t do art in any way shape or form and 2) the surface is really oddly textured since it is a 3D print.

Top of my desk: ‘60 Ranchero (close enough), ‘63 Galaxie, ‘59 Lincoln.

On the top of my desk I have a cardboard smartcar in one of my client’s livery.

My Grandfather got me this model of an R50 Mini like mine last year for Christmas.

1:1 scale model. Even came with tools.

Sadly, I do not have a ‘48 Chevy delivery, a Range Rover two-door, a mid-90s Ranger, a Hurst 442, or a Cessna Dragonfly (other things on top of the cabinet).
The unidentifiable object over the bed of the red Ranchero is the hand of a Monty Python King Arthur action figure.

Had some extra paint lying around, so I figured why not ?

After a quick google search I’ve concluded that a diecast model of the 2016 Forte5 SX doesn’t exist.

That grille looks off to me. Wrong angle or something.

Neither does one for the ST. :(

Of course I do! It’s fun
And previous car:

Is it abs or pla? If it’s ABS you can use acetone to smooth the surface.

Sweet! Where’d you find the Kia?
![]() 11/10/2017 at 10:41 |

The model is at home:
But thats a pretty good 3d print, can’t even see the layers.

I got kinja’d.

It’s a fantastic 3D print. Very detailed.
I like the crossfire, you’re a lucky guy.

Never seen one for either of my cars.

What cars? I bet you could find something interesting, maybe not a model
![]() 11/10/2017 at 10:55 |

Of course! The wagon evolution:

5th gen Prelude and 2nd gen TSX. Upon googling, there are a couple models for the Prelude, but they’re from the era when body-kits and such were popular so that’s what they look like. As for the TSX, the closest thing i found was a Spirior, which is what the car was called in China.

I don’t, although there’s a couple different ones I want.
This one (looks rather uncommon though - TSM has a right hand drive one, though, it seems): https://m.ebay.com/itm/2016-toyota-prius-red-rare-twitter-promo-collectors-model-diecast-toy-car/3320029560959
And this one (available, but not cheap, especially for plastic 1:43): http://ebbro.co.jp/item_japangp/44273121122311111212121113113111113111231111113111131121121121112111111121111112111111112112111111311111111111111111111.html

I’m lucky in the sense that I can afford 2 red, 2 seater sports cars. But it’s the crossfires time to go. Recently made it the cheapest one for sale on autotrader. Hopeing that get its to a new home.

Where would one go to get a 3d printed model of a car?
I’m not sure there’d be any other way for me to get hold of a model of a ‘10 Taurus (SHO).
![]() 11/10/2017 at 11:19 |

There are like some super high quality ones out there.
![]() 11/10/2017 at 11:19 |

I got it from the Ford 3D store. No Taurus SHO though.
You could get one of these though: http://www.fordshowparts.com/store_contents.cfm?cart_id=11192041570111114100831049261220171011&store_id=1&dept_id=1137&product_id=6989

Thanks! The AutoArt Trophy Truck is my favorite. The 1:18 Cougars are cool too. I need to figure out where I want to display them, the garage doesn’t seem like the right place.
I had the Minichamps 1:32 Focus ST model (and still have a couple of the Greenlight 1/64). I like having models of my 1:1s. I wish I could find a diecast Grand Cherokee version of my wife’s 2014.

1:1 cars for good measure

I can’t believe they charge for a certificate of authenticity. Doesn’t my title serve this purpose? Why do I need one? Doesn’t my 5000 pounds of car provide enough authenticity? Haha.

I’ve got a matchbox outback, and the rest of the subaru lineup. Got them for free for being a brand ambassador!

Despite always being on the lookout, none of my cars have really been cool enough to warrant an affordable die cast model. But I did find a pretty close casting to my old Thunderbird and painted it to match the one I owned.
Here’s what it looked like before:

(Sucky pic sorry) and yeah, this isn’t exactly my car but it’s my uncle’s. He’s had it for a long time now and it looks a lot like this. He’s let me take a few rides in it, I love it.

It’s interesting to have a model of the car contemporary to when it was new. Dinky 186 is a small clone of my car:

awwww yes! Thanks! I wish the black ones weren’t the men in black edition, I have a black one. But I may just pick up this blue one.

Those are actually manufactured by AeroPro for the U.S. and are not affiliated with Matchbox.

You know, certain car guys get hard for paperwork.
I would buy it, just to have.

Gotcha! Cool to know who actually made them! I just used matchbox as a blanket term.
